- annotations, labels, quality assessments, confidence values, and other information created when the submission is reviewed or processed;
- the account, username, or profile associated with the submission;
- the date and time of the submission; and
- technical metadata transmitted with the image or device, which may include file type, image dimensions, device or camera information, and location metadata if that information is present in the uploaded file.
We may associate this information with your account and with other submissions that you make.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

HOW WE USE IMAGES FOR MACHINE LEARNING
We use submitted images and related information to operate, maintain, secure, evaluate, and improve the Services. This includes displaying and verifying score submissions, identifying pinball machines, evaluating image quality, detecting inaccurate or abusive submissions, and correcting errors in our machine and score records.
We also use submitted images and related information to research, develop, train, fine-tune, test, validate, benchmark, evaluate, monitor, maintain, and improve machine-learning and artificial-intelligence systems.
These systems may include models that:
- recognize or transcribe scores displayed by pinball machines;
- identify or classify the make, model, title, version, or edition of a pinball machine;
- determine whether an image contains enough relevant information to verify a score or identify a machine;
- detect duplicate, mislabeled, low-quality, or unsuitable images; and
- perform related functions involving pinball machines, scoring, gameplay, and the Services.
This processing may involve automated image analysis as well as review, labeling, annotation, or quality control by authorized personnel and service providers.
We may create and retain annotations, labels, statistical patterns, evaluation results, model parameters, model weights, algorithms, and other technical materials derived through these activities.
We may use, host, license, distribute, or commercialize the models, model weights, software, APIs, products, and services developed through this work. Users are not entitled to compensation, royalties, or an ownership interest merely because a submitted image contributed to the development, testing, or improvement of a model.
NO FACIAL RECOGNITION OR BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION
We do not use submitted pinball images to identify people, create facial templates or biometric identifiers, train facial-recognition systems, or infer sensitive personal characteristics about people depicted in an image.
We take reasonable steps to exclude, crop, blur, or otherwise minimize clearly identifiable people and children before using an image for machine-learning development.
How do we protect your information?
We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards.
We only provide articles and information. We never ask for credit card numbers.
We do not use Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information.

We may provide submitted images and related information to contractors and service providers that assist us with cloud hosting, storage, security, data preparation, annotation, quality review, model training, model evaluation, and related technical services.
These providers may process the information only on our behalf, under our instructions, and subject to contractual confidentiality, security, retention, and use restrictions. They are not authorized to use submitted images to train or improve their own unrelated or general-purpose models.
We may make trained models, model weights, APIs, software, and related documentation available to researchers, community developers, customers, and commercial licensees.
We do not include a collection of the original submitted images in a model download, and we do not provide original submitted images to model recipients merely because they receive or use one of our trained models. Our models are intended to learn statistical patterns needed to read scores and identify machines, rather than to reproduce particular submitted images.
We may describe a model generally as having been developed using community-contributed Pindigo or Flippd submissions. We will not publicly identify a particular person as a contributor to a model unless that identification is already public through the person’s submission or the person separately authorizes it.
